About orBit
Updated 2026-10-31
orBit is a personal administration application operated by Rodrigo Alves. Its current system manages calendar availability, meeting requests and calendar events.
Calendar and Google access
The administrator can connect a Google account, read calendar availability, view and edit events, and approve meeting requests. Google authorization is held by orBit’s shared connection service so systems do not need separate copies of account credentials.
Public visitors can see busy times and request a meeting. Requests are added to Google Calendar only after the administrator approves them. Public entries show Busy unless the administrator explicitly enables Event title for that calendar. Private-marked event names, descriptions and guest lists are not published. Free holiday entries can be displayed without blocking bookings.
Access
Administration is restricted to the owner’s configured Google identity, with password recovery also available. Signing in to orBit and authorizing calendar access are separate operations. These information pages are public; they do not grant access to administration or calendar data. Task management and supervision systems have not been implemented.
Read the privacy notice for information about data access, storage and sharing, and the terms of use for meeting-request behavior.
